Everytime I go to an estate sale the first place I look is under tables, in the garage, & next to the register area.  I'm not sure how many sales I have left where people are asking where I found something.  My blowmold geese planters were sitting in the grass next to the checkout tent.  I asked if they were on hold.  It turned out they were not & everything lined up along the tent was still for sale. Who knows why they set the sale up that way, but I was pretty excited about my new garden pals!

Things that other things are sitting on get overlooked also.  I have found so many  cute plant stands, shelves, vintage tables, and stepstools just waiting for me to bring home.  I have a thing for plant stands, so I'm also so excited for find one for 50% off at the end of a sale!

Backyards & tool sheds definately need to be explored.  Garden statues, bird baths, planters, garden tools, amazing baskets, apple crates, stepping stones, the list goes on.  So, if you love to garden or need new planters, or unusal things for your flower gardens, it's worth the trip outside!

Garages, you can find almost anything tucked away in a garage.  I have found holiday decorations, hiking equipment, shelving, a vintage doggie daybed, an entire set of pink vintage towels, car manuals, watering cans, and a designer basketball the was worth 500.00!

So, the next time you stop into an estate sale make sure you take the time to find the hidden treasures.
